Jason Belgrave came to Westmount Bible in Chapel at the start of 2015, along with his wife Carrie, and their two boys Atticus and Gabriel. This arrival was fresh off their preparation in the United States, where Jason completed his Master of Divinity training at The Master’s Seminary in Los Angeles, California. Jason is passionate for the inerrant Word of God, and enjoys opening it, teaching it, and encouraging others in it. His life in Christ has been anchored by the truth of Psalm 86:11: “Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.”

David Aldom started at Westmount Bible Chapel in 2000, the year he and his wife Sandy moved to Peterborough. David’s heart is for service, and he enjoys helping others at every opportunity. He also enjoys teaching, and is involved with serving the church in this way. David adopted the life-informing truths of James 1:5 from his early years as a teenager: “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.”

Gary Bottomley, along with his wife Sharon, sons, Nathan, Mark, and daughter Sarah began attending Westmount Bible Chapel in April of 2015. After years of pursuing various hobbies and worldly pleasures, Gary knew there was still something missing in his life. Thankfully God, in His sovereignty, had already begun to work in Gary’s heart. Calling him, as in 1 Peter 2:9: “out of darkness into His marvelous light.”  God was gracious and changed both Gary and Sharon’s hearts. Gary knows first-hand the comforting truth Jesus taught in Matthew 11:28-30:Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jim MacDonald, and his wife Gerri, have been at Westmount Bible Chapel for almost 20 years. Jim believes that the Christian life is one of service – to one another, and to the community. At his baptism, he was impacted by the truth in Philippians 1:6, which says: “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”
