The Westmount Psalter

Our God loves music! He has given us an entire collection of beautiful, often musical poetry in the book of Psalms. We have arranged a few of the psalms to music and we sing these regularly in services. You can get an idea of what these psalms sound like by listening to some "rough recordings" we have made.

Our God loves literature! He has revealed Himself to us in 66 books we call the Bible. Scripture is composed of various genres, ranging from narrative to poetry to epistle. In light of such a Biblical emphasis on written word, Westmount offers a ministry called the Westmount Wordsmiths. The Wordsmiths desire to produce articles, stories, and poetry grounded in Scriptural truths which glorify God and edify the saints. Read the Wordsmiths' outputs below.

Midweek Studies

The product of our Midweek studies, here we offer topical treatments of issues flowing out of Sunday sermons, culture, or movements and teachings in the broader church. Midweek studies are an interactive teaching session, often featuring questions from the congregation and geared towards a deeper understanding of worldview and theology such that our everyday lives are transformed in light of God's truth. Foundations of the Faith

The product of our pre-service Sunday School classes, here we offer teaching sessions on various Biblical studies, ranging from Bible surveys to Systematic Theology. Whether a newer believer looking to learn about the fundamentals of the Christian faith, or a more mature Christian seeking to fortify the foundations, the Sunday School lessons accessible below are sure to edify the listener in the Word of God.

Bible Reading Plans

God's Word is essential to the Christian life. God works through His Word to create (Gen. 1:3), save (Rom. 10:17), and grow (1 Thess. 2:13). Scripture even devotes its longest chapter - Psalm 119 - to meditating on and rejoicing in the Law of the Lord. As followers of Christ, one of our greatest joys is to read what He has revealed to us in His Holy Word.
